Zeitgeist

Last week, Arthur was questioning himself what exactly happened in the world from the 90s to today. In his opinion, the world may have evolved in some aspects. On the other hand, the quality of books, arts, architecture, and design, for example, has decreased. He thinks that the internet has a great role in this because if anybody can publish a book on Amazon, for example, without any filter or corrections, we tend to end the year with a bunch of bad books. Before that, it seems, there were a bit more criteria to publish something. The waste of publishing something bad was huge. Obviously, this has happened way before the 90s; bad content always existed. But now, with the internet giving voice and space for almost everyone, we're suffocated with poor stuff. Like this blog.

What about the newspapers that once were super well written, and now seem more like an exhaustive ad, or political debate?
